Alexandra Lewis is Senior Lecturer in English and Creative Writing, and Director of the Centre for the Novel, at the University of Aberdeen. She holds a PhD from Trinity College, Cambridge, and has taught at the Universities of Cambridge, Warwick, and Goldsmiths, London. Current projects include the Norton Critical Edition of Wuthering Heights, an edited collection on The Brontës and the Idea of the Human (Cambridge UP), a monograph on nineteenth-century trauma, and a short story collection and novel. Alexandra's poetry and fiction appear in Causeway/Cabhsair, The Interpreter's House, Waymaking, Victorians Journal and Southerly.
