Professor Philip Goad is internationally known for his research and is an authority on modern Australian architecture. Philip is Chair of Architecture and Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor at the University of Melbourne, and was recently appointed as the Gough Whitlam and Malcolm Fraser Chair in Australian Studies at Harvard University for the 2019–2020 academic year. He is the first architecture expert to be chosen for the Harvard position, a testament to Philip’s extensive research in architectural history, theory and design.
