Georgina Wyatt was born in North Queensland and grew up in a small rural town in a blue-collar family. When she was 10 years old, she found an abandoned poetry textbook, The Faber book of 20th century American poetry, and discovered magic. A practicing visual artist as well as a poet, she lives in Canberra with her husband.
