Jean Kent has published three books of poetry. Her first book, Verandahs, originally published by Hale & Iremonger in 1990, was recently republished by Picaro Press. The manuscript of her fourth collection, Travelling with the wrong phrase books, was highly commended for the 2008 Alec Bolton Prize. She was awarded a Literature Board Overseas Residency for 2011, and is currently living at its Keesing Studio in Paris.
