Sarah Holland-Batt’s first book, Aria, was the recipient of the Judith Wright Poetry Prize and the FAW Anne Elder Award. She was recently Australia Council Literature Resident at the B.R. Whiting Studio in Rome, and as of late 2010 is the W.G. Walker Memorial Fulbright Scholar at New York University.
